Membership

Becoming a member of Granite Credit Union is easy

If you live, work, worship, or attend school in Salt Lake County or you have an immediate family member who does, you are eligible for membership. Simply fill out the online membership application to get started. That goes for businesses too. Once a member, always a member. Even if you move away, we’re always there and you can keep your accounts membership with us.

Everyone benefits when we work together to make our community better. Unlike banks, when you become a member of Granite Credit Union you are a shareholder in our community cooperative. That means, with the minimum $5 balance in your savings account, you are part owner and you benefit from lower fees, better interest rates, cash back and more.

What sets us apart from other credit unions in the area is that we offer a full array of financial products and services to members of our community who hold an ITIN. Success works both ways, so as a member of Granite, you know we’re invested in your financial well-being as well.

What you need to open an account:

  • Valid form of ID

  • Social Security Number or ITIN
